A Sustainable and Climate Resilient Delta is not an option, it is a must, says 16 development partners in a joint statement

On 18th, a conference was held I Ho Chi Minh City to review two years of implementing Resolution No.120/NQ-CP on sustainable development of the Mekong Delta in adaptation with climate change. The Conference has an afternoon section chaired by the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, hearing reports from other ministers.

On this conference, 16 development partners (DPs), including WWF, sharing a joint statement to express their sincere appreciation to Prime Minister Phuc and his Government for the leadership taken to promote a sustainable and climate resilient Mekong Delta. The DPs also stated that they remain committed to bring comparative advantages to work in partnership with the whole-of-government, private sector and other key stakeholders to achieve sustainable, climate resilient and inclusive growth for the Mekong Delta.
