The Partnership Framework for 2026 - 2030 continues to promote multisectoral coordination between health, agriculture, and the environment. It focuses on several priorities, such as monitoring and preventing zoonotic diseases, controlling emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, ensuring animal welfare, and integrating environmental factors, biodiversity, and climate change into disease prevention.
The signing ceremony has become an important milestone, demonstrating the strong commitment of the Vietnamese government and the international community in promoting the One Health approach. The event also helps affirm Viet Nam's proactive role in protecting human, animal, and ecosystem health and achieving sustainable development.
WWF-Viet Nam thanks the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment for convening this important initiative, especially as zoonotic diseases and food safety risks continue to grow and require coordinated One Health action. We congratulate the Ministry on establishing the One Health Partnership Framework 2026–2030, an open, multi-sectoral platform that will strengthen policy dialogue, knowledge sharing, and resource mobilisation. With over 30 years of engagement in Viet Nam, we remain committed to contributing through efforts to reduce wildlife trade, strengthen risk management, conserve ecosystems, and promote behaviour change. WWF-Viet Nam is honoured to join the Partnership and will actively engage in its technical work while supporting national priorities. We are confident that, under the Ministry’s leadership, this Partnership will drive effective collaboration, and we reaffirm our long-term commitment to safeguarding human, animal, and ecosystem health.
