Our Vision
WWF-Viet Nam has developed a 2030 Vision where:

  • Humanity’s footprint stays within Viet Nam’s capacity to sustain the full diversity of species and ecosystems, and the key services they provide, contributing to a more secure and sustainable future.
  • The ecological integrity and biodiversity of Viet Nam’s priority areas are maintained and restored, playing a critical role in conserving the overall ecological integrity of the Greater Mekong.

WWF was one of the first international non-government organizations to work in Viet Nam.

In 1985, WWF began working on a national conservation strategy and since then, has worked closely with the Vietnamese Government and local partners on a diverse range of environmental issues, implementing numerous field activities across the country. WWF-Viet Nam is part of WWF-Greater Mekong which includes WWF-Cambodia, WWF-Laos, WWF-Thailand and WWF-Myanmar.
